HP-Leakage Detector is a leak calculation algorithm developed by an innovative Water Optimization Specialist and marketed by Prometeo for various software platforms. The product is characterized by simplicity and versatility, because, being able to calculate the losses only from the daily balance of the flows entering and leaving the DMA, it can also be used in networks or portions of networks not yet districted and during losses search and repair campaigns.
The product is immediately available for monitoring a single DMA on the Lacroix-Sofrel S4W RTU (see the WEB Server human-machine interface in the image below), but, in its Internet version to be released soon, it will be easily integrated on any Remote Control SCADA, on any Water Management System or on other software platforms such as Web-LS by Lacroix Sofrel.
It should be noted that the algorithm works without knowing the number of users served in the DMA, nor their night-time legittimate consumption, and therefore is optimal for the management of areas with high tourist intensity, where the number of users and the lifestyle habits are subject to significant daily variations. Furthermore, due to the same characteristics, it greatly simplifies the Active Leakage Control operation.
