approach

The construction of high-efficiency aqueducts requires central and peripheral optimization systems, which must be implemented with a multi-disciplinary approach by a team of specialists with IT skills. of automation/regulation and electronics, but also of hydraulic skills and aqueduct optimization.
This is the approach that we implement by coordinating our technological activity with that of qualified partners, who contribute their application experience.

Our solutions are based on the 4 pillars of optimization action outlined by the Water Loss Specialist Group of the International Water Association.

application areas

The main application areas in which we operate are the following

  1. Pressure control and pressure transient control systems in PMZ to reduce losses, energy consumption, breakages and therefore maintenance costs, environmental impact and to extend the life cycle of aqueduct assets.

  2. Active Leakage Control systems, capable of identifying the onset of new leaks within 24 hours and establishing intervention priorities based on the level of leak, its trend and the marginal economic value of the leak.

  3. Artificial Intelligence systems for predicting water demand and optimizing the load of adduction network tanks.

Solutions

The main solutions currently offered are the following:

  1. HP-PMZ is an advanced solution for controlling pressure and its transients in a PMZ. The system implements the main regulation algorithms available today and also includes an innovative intelligent algorithm, which modifies the control rules adaptively to cope with variations in the level of losses, maintaining the best possible level of service in the area and at the same time containing the effects produced by the loss occurred.

  2. HP-Leakage Detector is an innovative leak estimation algorithm, that simplifies the creation and daily management of an effective Active Leakage Control system. It proves particularly effective in the management of aqueducts in areas with high tourist intensity. Today it is delivered within HP-PMZ (on the periphery) to support the adaptive version of pressure control and as an Internet service (at the center) to provide accurate loss estimates on a daily basis to the Remote Control SCADA or to the Water Management System of the Public Utility. It can be easily integrated with any Customer Enterprise System.
  3. Scubic is an Artificial Intelligence system capable of creating accurate forecasts of water demand and of preparing an optimized loading plan for the tanks of the Adduction network.
