Overview
TeslaSCADA is a cross-platform SCADA solution capable of operating on PC (Linux or Windows),Raspberry PI, Android and iOS. It can be used to create complex multi-platform client/server applications (see presentation) or for simple applications that transform your mobile phone or your Android/iOS Tablet into a console for monitoring, supervision, configuration of local industrial devices (on LAN) or remote (on the Internet). PLCs, controllers, RTUs, valves, drives can show their data and can be parameterized with an advanced man-machine interface, without increasing their production cost as a result of the insertion of an on-board touch-display into the product.
The mimics are made on the development IDE with unparalleled ease of use (see tutorial). TeslaSCADA communicates with the field through an OPC UA interface, with a Modbus connection, with Bacnet, with MQTT and with Siemens/Allen Bradley/Omron protocols or with "custom" connections set up for the specific situation. Obviously the OPC-UA connection is optimal for monitoring remote devices (IoT) due to the intrinsic data security characteristics that the standard offers.
TeslaSCADA main advantages and areas of use
- It can be used on LAN or on the Internet with any device of daily use: PC, Raspberry PI, Android or iOS.
- It doesn't have the full functionality of an advanced SCADA, but, due to its technical characteristics and its licensing policy, it is practically the best HMI solution for volume embedded applications.
- It is the best solution for the following applications: remote assistance via the Internet, setup and parameterization of intelligent controllers and sensors, Building and Home Automation, telemedicine, remote control via the Internet, remote monitoring of systems, remote control, alarm detection and Key Performance Indicators via devices furniture, etc.
- It is extremely user-friendly and produces highly effective human-machine interfaces. The creation of the HMI application can be performed directly on the device (even on a smartphone) by personnel completely lacking in advanced technical knowledge.
