To provide excellent solutions in the field of pressure optimization in water districts it is necessary to adopt a multidisciplinary approach to the solution of the problem.
The hardware and the control algorithms are of fundamental importance, but no less important is the parameterization of the algorithms with accurate measurement campaigns and with a professional hydraulic modeling and use of the model itself.
Aware of this, Prometeo has established a strategic collaboration with the Hyper STP Engineering Firm in Florence.
This strategic collaboration, albeit of a non-exclusive type, allows Prometeo to provide complete turnkey solutions: from the feasibility study to the start-up of district optimization systems in the field.
In particular, the following activities are carried out:
- Analysis of the characteristics of the district, quantification of the achievable technical / economic / environmental benefits and definition of the necessary investments
- District design, hydraulic modeling, measurement campaigns for the calibration of the model and for the analysis of pressure phenomena in various motion (water hammer)
- Definition, supply and commissioning of the control system optimized for the management of hydro valves or pumping stations (independent from the brand of hydro valve or pumps)
- Analysis of the results and refinement of the control
- Optionally permanent monitoring of the district.
