Prometeo becomes Italian Distributor of the Scubic web software platform of the Portuguese Gotas Digitais LDA, an innovative company, connected to the University of Aveiro, specialized in AI applied to water optimisation.
Scubic performs an accurate forecast of the consumption of the water network and consequently of the loading plan of the tanks of the adduction network. On this basis, taking into account the characteristics of the pumping stations, the alternative electricity tariffs and the possible availability of self-produced green energy, it prepares an activation plan for the pumping stations which allows for:
- predict and control water consumption
- guarantee the continuity of the water service
- reduce energy costs
- analyze in real time the status of the network and any deviation from the operational plan, reporting possible critical issues and assessing the impact of plant problems
- analyze the efficiency of the pumps
- calculate the KPIs required by the customer and generate ISO 50001 compliant dashboards
- reduce CO2 emissions.
The optimal use of Scubic is in the management of supply networks, but the forecasting of consumption and the management of KPIs can also be applied to distribution networks.
