The tests carried out at the laboratory of the CNR ITC gave excellent results: a saving of 40% compared to the commercial controller installed in the building. All this with two further advantages: an increase in comfort for better tracking of the set-point and an enormous simplicity in configuring the algorithm, which by virtue of its adaptive nature can compensate for errors made during installation. Prometeo, which became a member of the Synesis research consortium in April, now intends to extend the development of algorithms with Synesis as part of a three-year research plan currently being defined and to begin commercial exploitation of the product.
